Amer Sports Sustainability Report 2024 has been published. The report highlights our progress, priorities, and key initiatives as we continue to integrate sustainability across the Group.

2024 was a milestone year

Our listing on the New York Stock Exchange marked an important moment in our journey. The process leading to the listing included a  review of our sustainability practices, governance, and risk management. We welcome—and are inspired by—the increased interest in our sustainability efforts as a publicly listed company.

A key achievement was the launch of our Group-wide Climate Program, which brings all brands and operations together under a shared ambition: to reduce emissions and reach net zero. In January 2025, our climate targets were officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Our science-based targets guide us toward net-zero emissions by 2050 and align with the latest climate science. The first milestone to reach is reducing our emissions by 25% by 2030.

“2024 was a pivotal year for Amer Sports. We strengthened our foundations, aligned with global standards, and made tangible progress across climate, circularity, and social responsibility. I’m proud of how our teams and brands have stepped up with action, not just ambition. As we move forward, our focus is clear: accelerate decarbonization, deepen collaboration, and continue embedding sustainability in everything we do,” says Tea Lindfors, Director, Sustainability Reporting at Amer Sports.

Highlights from 2024

  • We achieved the Leadership level and an A-rating for Climate in the 2024 CDP Corporate Questionnaire, reflecting strong performance in transparency and climate action.
  • Our brands continued to lead through action:
      – Arc’teryx expanded its ReBIRD™ repair services
      – Salomon advanced circular design with its INDEX range
      – Wilson launched “Come Play with Us” initiative, offering free equipment and court access
      – Peak Performance introduced the award-winning Elevate Liner Hood, designed to minimize production waste
      – Atomic hosted the Ski Industry Climate Summit to accelerate collaboration across the industry.
  • We published our first Living Wage Commitment in finished goods manufacturing and introduced new Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Health & Safety frameworks.
  • A dedicated Ethics and Compliance Office was established to strengthen oversight and drive continuous improvement in these areas.
  • We identified climate change as one of our top 10 risks. In 2024, we conducted a climate scenario analysis aligned with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to support mitigation planning and resilience.

Looking ahead to 2025

  • Finalize our Environmental and Circularity policies
  • Update our double materiality assessment
  • Prepare for reporting aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
  • Expand training and communications to strengthen internal awareness and engagement

As part of our Climate Program, we will further our decarbonization efforts by increasing renewable energy use and defining preferred materials for hardgoods. In our supply chain, we will review our Supplier Code of Conduct and continue the global implementation of the Fair Labor Association (FLA) principles to promote fair and responsible sourcing.
