Arc’teryx, a brand known for pushing the boundaries of performance apparel, has partnered with Skip, an innovator in wearable robotics, to introduce MO/GO™, the world’s first powered pants. Designed to enhance human mobility, these pants are set to transform outdoor activities by increasing stamina and reducing pain for those dealing with mobility challenges due to aging, fatigue, or injury.

The collaboration between Arc’teryx’s Advanced Concepts team and Skip, an independent company spun out of Google X, has resulted in a product that seamlessly integrates advanced robotics with Arc’teryx’s renowned design. MO/GO™ powered pants provide a 40% boost to leg muscles during ascents and support knee joints during descents, making challenging terrains more accessible.

MO/GO™ is built into Arc’teryx’s Gamma Pant, chosen for its breathability, durability, and stretch, ensuring comfort during outdoor activities. The technology includes a battery-operated motor, sensors, and a computer module that assists the user’s movements, making it feel like a natural extension of the body.
