As our VP of Sustainability, Anne brilliantly leads the implementation of our Amer Sports sustainability strategy and reporting since 2022. With her extensive background in the field, hear what she has to share about Amer Sports and why she chooses to elevate the world through sport with us.
In your opinion, what makes Amer Sports special?
Absolutely the people. Our work is fast paced and often demanding, but great colleagues have been there to offer insights and help. I’ve also enjoyed hiking, skiing, and golfing with them, which is the best way to get to know each other. We also recently moved to a new open-office space designed to encourage unplanned conversations, which often move projects forward, spark new ideas, or lift energy levels throughout the day.
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned while working at Amer Sports?
Amer Sports is a truly global company. Most of our colleagues are based all over the world, bringing diversity to our company. Different perspectives can be highly valuable when dealing with complex projects, often resulting in innovative outcomes.
Which of our values resonate with you the most, and why? How do they show up in our everyday life at Amer Sports?
All our values definitely resonate with me, and working with sustainability ‘Committed to impact’ is part of our daily work. However, I’d like to raise another value, “Always authentic”. This value is evident in our brands, which have deep heritage in their sports, and in our people, who enjoy an active lifestyle and gain strength from the outdoors. It’s crucial to stay true to your ethics and personal values, and reflect on how they align with the company’s values. This alignment with Amer Sports’ values is important to me and is a part of that authenticity.
