In addition, Amer Sports is growing rapidly. In my three years here, I’ve seen how our ability to attract top talent has expanded, and we are now highly sought after. This shows how our influence has expanded.
What tips would you give to people pursuing a career in HR?
- Find a mentor: having someone to mentor you and show you the real world application of HR principles can be incredibly beneficial. Don’t hesitate to approach a senior HR professional you admire.
- Embrace opportunities: be open to all opportunities, whether big or small. When you’re starting out in HR, every task is a chance to learn and grow. Approach each opportunity with enthusiasm and a willingness to give your best.
- Cultivate passion for culture: passion for creating a supportive environment where people can thrive is crucial, as happy employees are often more productive.
- Prioritize impact: recognize that you can only do so much on your own. Concentrate on working with individuals who can make the biggest impact on the business and invest your efforts where they will have the most influence.
